Making an Appointment You can call, email or use the contact form below. As we are a group practice and each therapist has their own clinical expertise, it is important that we match you with the right one. For this reason we ask that, when you contact us, (email, phone or using the contact page), you provide us with some information regarding the nature of your issue. This will be kept confidential and used to match a practitioner to your needs and to find a suitable booking for you.
At the time of booking an email will be sent confirming your appointment and a few days prior to your appointment an SMS reminder will be sent. Please be aware that we have a cancellation policy in place that requires 24 hours notice if you cannot make the appointment.
On the day of your appointment, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete our paperwork. If you have relevant medical paperwork, a mental health care plan, or a referral, please bring it along.
What to expect at the first appointment: The first session is designed to get to know you, establish your goals and gather information about factors that can impact on your mental health (medical, health, family, social, environment, lifestyle, historical factors). This information informs the basis of your treatment plan. We will guide the conversation in a non-judgemental way and will do our best to make you feel comfortable to share your story with us. All initial sessions are 50-60 minutes long and treatment is tailored to your individual needs. Subsequent sessions are usually booked 1-2 weeks apart until you begin to feel a reduction in your mental health symptoms.
Rebooking Appointments As our therapists can get heavily booked, it is recommended that you book 1-2 sessions in advance to ensure that you receive continuity of care and the allocated time slot you require. The therapist will advise of the recommended frequency and regularity of your appointments.
