We are so excited to offer another opportunity for a great psychologist or mental health social worker to join our team at Berwick Psychology & Hypnosis.
We are a group of psychologists, clinical hypnotherapists, dietitian and admin support staff who have created a positive, energetic, inclusive and nurturing environment for ourselves, the clients and community we serve.
The new addition to our team will be passionate about the mental health of others and have the ability to provide quality and effective therapy. They will love client work and bring a positive attitude and energy to the team. They will value ongoing education and expansion of knowledge and be willing to share their time and resources with other team members. Our new team member will value, and be committed to, their own thriving mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health and wellbeing.
This position is for you if you are:
Confident to provide quality, effective clinical therapy to a range of clients
Excellent at facilitating positive mental health change for clients
Passionate about providing therapeutic services to adolescents, adults and/or couples
Committed to your role as a psychologist in client appointments, training, paperwork and other requirements
Willing and eager to learn how to work in our allied health private practice
Wanting flexible working days/times to suit your lifestyle
Wanting freedom over your caseload
Committed to the role for a minimum of 12 months (the more the merrier!)
Registered with AHPRA or as a Mental Health Social Worker

Supervision by senior psychologist

Full use of Kitchen facilities and provisions provided (tea, coffee machine, fridge, table, chairs)
Tea/water station for clients to help themselves (keep our sessions running smoothly)
Ambient environment (meditation music, essential oils, soft coloured furnishings)
Fresh, modern, comfortable rooms containing desk, chairs, lounges, lamps
Opportunity to participate in networking and community-based activities
Opportunities to learn how to run, market, manage and coordinate a private practice
Finer Details:
The position is a contract position meaning the successful applicant will be paid per client service provided
We would prefer the candidate to offer a minimum of two days per week (but willing to negotiate for the right person)
We welcome applicants who can commit to the role for at least 12 months
We strongly encourage applicants with hypnotherapy, couples or EMDR experience (or open to training in this area)
You will be required to have an ABN, indemnity insurance, working with children’s check and be eligible for a Medicare provider number.
