It's OK: you're not alone.
In fact, I've been seeing lots of clients recently who are afraid of needles or vaccination but still want to do the right thing, for their own sake and others' sake....... but they're scared and apprehensive.
I had this text from a client a couple of days ago:
(Getting the vaccination was) "Probably the most positive experience I've had getting a needle ever! Got the heart racing just beforehand but other than that it was good!".
Actually, if you really want to know the truth, it is not surprising that people feel uncomfortable (or even downright terrified) of getting an injection.
It is surprising however that we don't ALL feel this way. It is icky if you think about it.
You'll notice that my client said she found her heart racing, even though it was a positive experience. To her, this was such an improvement, as a person whom, prior to hypnotherapy and when I first saw her, could not even think about making a booking without shaking and bursting into tears).
She had learned how to handle her fears and apprehensions in a positive way and her reaction was now far from the phobic response she used to have.
And a racing heart was the worst of it, you could handle that, right?
